Warranty Policy and Submission
Intention: No Defective Knives/Product in the Field
Limited Lifetime Warranty: All products are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the item.
Chaves Knives does NOT cover:
- Misuse
- Loss or Theft
- Improper sharpening
- Damage due to neglect
- Modification or Repairs done by anyone else
Chaves Knives reserves the right to discern if it will repair or replace parts, up to and including full replacement of the knife.
Processing:
- If the knife/product was purchased from one of our authorized dealers, please reach out to them first to sort out if the available options (replace or refund).
- Fill out the form below with:
- Name
- Return address
- Phone number
- Email address
- The knife model
- The reason for requesting warranty service
- Photos of the knife including the defect
- If the above requirements are not met Chaves Knives will not accept the knife for warranty.
- Pack the knife/product in a secure shipping box with ample padding to ensure the knife does not sustain any further damage in transit.
- Ensure the shipping label is flat and secure to the package and take it to the designated mail carrier USPS or UPS.
- NOTE: Chaves Knives will not be held responsible for loss of a knife/product in transit to or from Chaves Knives for warranty.
- Processing a warranty can take between 2 to 6 weeks after the item has been received by Chaves Knives.
- Spa treatment is NOT offered
